putting the ammo on mid would make the engy setting up time shorter meaning teams have less time to push before mid becomes nearly impossible to retake

If you wanna make it a better competitive map then:
– Put two small ammo packs on middle
– Force a No Engineers rule only on this map
– Set a winlimit or windifference

just put ammo in the middle and that sorts it out, that’s the only problem I’ve ever had with turbine.

2A. I like how there’s no ammo on middle — it encourages frequent pushing into the flag room rather than turtling on middle. It also makes the ammo acquired from enemy weapons after they’ve died incredibly valuable rather than an after thought.

No, it encourages an engineer with a dispenser on middle and therefore a much slower gameplay.
