After stun, slow, health leech and self-healing what other (rpg) mechanic could they pick?
Ah yes, damage reduction /shields.
And like the other updates, it will even be fun :P

I’ll admit that’s more retarded than anything I could have come up with.
Valve probably wanted something for close range combat, and something that pubbers would like. The description is kind of bad, sounds like a charger from L4D2 more than anything.
haven’t you guys ever played Pirates, Vikings and Knights II? swords are fun and awesome!

Sure u get damage reduction, but i wouldn’t trade it for my sticky launcher.
I don’t think this will affect comp tf2 at all.

I don’t expect anything usefull for the soldier now, or maybe those 2 fail weapons which you can only use together is a stealth nerf for the demo.

You’ve not even used it yet? It maybe amazing and besides what did you a expect the same weapon as now just more powerful? Not really a trade off then is it.
Being able to charge into enemies faster than a scout, take 65% less damage will doing so, and then getting crit decapitations sounds fucking awesome to me.
Edit. Forget you get a fucking health bonus as well. I would trade that for my shovel and shotgun any day.
WHO WOULD LIKE TO BET ME 3 DRINKS AT LAN THAT THIS WEAPON IS BANNED IN ETF2L COS IT’S TOO OVERPOWERED
