just gonna clean mine… had a look at it and yeah its dirty as fuck lol
when im idling its at around 75 degrees…. is that an ok temperature to use the computer with? (ie. not risking destroying my pc)
anything over 70 C is not recommended by intel (lowers life of cpu)

Daaamn, I built this pc over 2 years ago, would it have been able to survive this long with an improperly mounted cooler? D:
Or could it be that the thermal paste wore out over time?
The room insulation & pc area are fine as far as i can tell.
Did you transport your case at all? LAN? Could have moved during that.
If it was never mounted properly (but still to a functional extent) it’s not impossible that it moved because of heating/cooling. Very unlikely though.
