Acceptable pings?

I am a international player and I play scout. I get ping around 200-220 in multiplay servers which are hosted in UK.

That kind of pings are allowed by EET2L ?

Also, I am very new in competitive scene. How do I get started? :(

You can play with 900 ping if you can handle it :P

In my opinion, no – it’s unacceptable. You’ll be warping around a server and very hard to hit with many weapons.

It’s not going to be long before we start seeing rules coming into the league regarding pings, and 200+ is definitely not acceptable. Sorry.

D2M has a point, you’re just to far away for the game to be enjoyable to play, I’d assume it’s not worth it for you and others that have to play against you.

It’s bad enough playing with some 160+ping Serbians :/

Тhey must have _very_ bad connection. I am currently using Bulgaria’s worst ISP and i dont have 160+ ping…

kind of an unrelated question, but what I don’t understand is this,

I play to a UK server, and my ping jumps up and down, never stable, if I play on a USA server, my ping is 100+ but it never jumps, just stays the same? Why is this? :)
