Just bought the game and i’m downloading over night – add me on steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/STUPIDNAMEHERE and i’ll be nerding this week :>
Wondering if anyone has bought the dvd-version of the game and can tell me if its still downloadable from origin (for example add a cd-key to allow dl) or if you got to install it from the dvd player. alternative dl it from torrent, install and use cd-key.
Asking because the dvd version is cheaper, but ive lost my dvd player for the computer :(.

Yes it’s possible, it’s what I did.
the crashes and impossibility to rejoin server like two times after crash + loading times kinda fuck the game a lot

Was playing with Shintaz last night (no homo) and he said a fix for some of the crashes is to remove any C++ windows update in your control panel that doesnt have 2011 in it, do so at your own risk though!

It fixed most crashes for my brother.
maybie you know whats wrong. when i turn on bf the screen goes black, then monitor starts flashing (turned on black and turned off black) and doesnt load. if i press windows button to minimize the game i see a loading logo in the right bottom but it crashes then i get an error that bf stopped working. any ideas?

some kind of sync issue, it doesnt allways put monitor at right refresh rate for some reason
dunno about it crashing tho, happens to me first two times i try to start it but it usually works on 3rd

tbh who made this interface and everything surrounding this game should die in a fucking fire. Even if a game itself might be ok (havent tried cuz nothing works) whats the point when you rather kill urself than start origin.
