I think the 2-1 points divide is éxactly to promote risky play for the team who won the mid fight. I think the scoring system as it is, is meant to make the team go “well we got 1 point anyway now, lets just push”.
Obviously that doesn’t work.
I approve of Golden Cap. I think it’s the best option. Seems to work for several seasons now and it’s just plain clear and leaves no room for discussion amongst the teams.
