Several of the most intense games I had involved a GC. And I don’t know about you, but I enjoy intense games. Rolling some team 5:0 isnt fun.
To clarify: A Golden Cap intensifies the clutch moments and therefore produces more intense moments.

Football, (and most other sports for that matter!), stylee, 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, I suppose 3 points available for a map is a nice idea but why is it imperative? Confused…
Yes Ash, the one GC we’ve been involved with was a rather tense affair and we did feel quite happy when we won it, I was just wondering why the no draws rule exists at all, especially as it makes the turbine and gravelpit rules more awkward to work out. Also I’ll remind you of that ‘rolling 5-0 isn’t fun’ comment next time we pcw :p

To clarify, i’m a fan of golden caps myself but I was under the impression the majority wasn’t (I remember some thread about it, timelimt 10 being the major problem)
Since this doesn’t seem to be the case, ignore that part. I’d still put viaduct in as a 6th map though.
still snakewater is so much more fun than turbine. yes, turbine is different – but it’s boring as hell after a few times.
