If you are even remotely considering getting a train to LAN, DO NOT book it on the thetrainline.com or any other website. They take commission and usually don’t even get the best route for you. Instead, get off your arse, and actually go down to your local train station and speak to someone about it. I guarantee that it will work out anywhere between slightly and significantly cheaper than it is online. For i42 I would have been £155 return for the exact same route I bought tickets from the station for, that cost me £91.

Would much rather get a cheap flight to London and work my way up to the venue from there, so if there are people going from the London area by car hit me up on steam some time and let us work something out.
Anyone willing to pick up some lovely lad from Barnsley to take me to and from LAN?
Beer money/travel money will be given of course. Would really like a lift as I don’t really wanna carry my stuff on a train, and there might be a chance I have to take back an extra monitor anyway.
I’d also be able to make surrounding areas via train as well (Leeds, Nottingham, Huddersfield, Sheffield)
I’m arriving around 16:40 ( 3:40 pm english time ) on thursday @ Birmingham airport.
Most likely I’ll hop on the train if you want to join me from there ( or from Amsterdam ) contact me. (:

Same here, is theres anyone from london that could give a lift to that place whenever it is? Can pay for fuel and talk with russian accent.

FAO Foreigners i’ve just found a good travel guide for telford for those coming from far and wide.

Can someone pick me up from the airport @ 26th ? If everything goes like planned I should be in BHX around 1500 local time.
Basically need a lift to telford and back if that is possible from Norwich or Peterborough can get a train closer if needed just dont want to fork out £70 for train ticket. Will be me and possible my mate (who isnt bringing computer) both 18 and willing to pay for fuel etc
