To be honest, you’re going to compress it all in the end anyway, so just compress it straight into Divx from TF2 on uber high settings, I get amazing quality out of that, looks just the same to me as compressed tgas… and working with a raw is just silleh

No because Divx is shit. h.264 is so much better its unreal, and that requires alot of CPU to encode, so its better to use something like Lagarith. Its always best practice to keep it at the highest quality possible until final output.
