inb4 casual alters mumble.dll and tells everyone its legit because it uses same method mumble uses.. rofl

Quoted from Casual

Also keep in mind it’s not possible to ‘define’ “alters the game” (well, you can define it in non-technical terms). Steam overlay / mumble / fraps literally ‘hack’ (as in, they make modifications) to system dlls in order to do their business. Have a screenshot of what mumble does: http://i.imgur.com/zW3Qs1s.png

?! that isnt altering game in any way shape or form… its hilarious you still think ur hacks are same as text overlay for app that has nothing to do with the game :DD

fuck damnit animal he’s not claiming the legitimacy of anything. he’s just saying that openplugin isn’t any less legit just because it’s not injected as a plugin anymore, which is what you were implying.

AnimaL

it actually is less legit if you would have any idea of what you can do with plugins and using -insecure in the way valve intended to do…

valve fixed -insecure mode so you couldnt install random plugins and still play on vac servers with -insecure..open plugin since valves update isnt plugin anymore so stop comparing it to plugins… you dont get banned for using plugins…theres tons of legit plugins, that only work on insecure/stv servers because valve dont want them to work in multiplayer

Problem solved:

plugin_unload takes a number (not a string) as argument. However if you pass it something that is not a number (such as “OpenPlugin”) it will interpret that as a 0 (so effectively your command becomes plugin_unload 0). Since nearly everyone here as only PREC installed it will unload that and then say ‘Unloaded plugin “[whatever you gave as argument]”‘ (<- why the fuck can't you escape < and > !?) while it basically only unloaded PREC.

I believe the OP’s question has been answered, we’re done here.
