IF YOU MAKE A RECRUITMENT POST AT DIV X/Y. DO NOT START THAT POST SAYING “I am not div Y”

That’s just fucking retarded.

You’re all funny. Like, three quarters of all of you don’t understand the definition of personal and team’s common interest. If you want to get picked up, you will get trialed or judged based upon team’s previous experience with you. Ten A4 pages long rec posts will change nothing past div4. A team, by definition, wants to win at games, so if you can’t perform at its level, you won’t get picked. So why not be informative a little and help yourself instead of pretending to be someone you are not and forever alone?

Also, it’s really amusing to watch people argue about their skill level on public forums.

also to whoever the fuck was whining that skill police was costing people trials or some shit – what the fuck? you dumb, kid. what really deters people from trialing these baddies is a combination of three things:

1) people who have no fucking clue what skill level they actually are and so just put what they “think” they are. nobody is going to look at these recruitment threads and go “oh boy, look at all this amazing div1 talent compressed into these div4/3 players’ bodies. how did God do that??? did he use a food processor or like a masher? man that’s good work.”

2) people who have no idea how or what to say in a recruitment post. here’s a hint: “soldier looking. (LANable/not LANable). can pocket and roam. speak (language) (poorly/well/fluently/with the aid of an eye-recognition speech processor).” every other relevant thing can be and will be discovered during the magical trial period that 90% of you probably never reach because you’ve bored your potential suitors to death. nobody’s going to read your giant spew of over complicated personal information and get a stiffy and decide to trial you based off of some compelling tale of how great the time you spent in div3 with your other austrian friends was. in fact if i see someone spewing their vaginal fluid about “oh it was the loveliest time of my life and it will never be replicated and i miss you all” i would never in my life want to pick them up.

3) when you come off like a complete twat in public, nobody’s going to ever want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you’re a nice and friendly guy in mumble. you think anyone’s gonna be like “oh boy look at all those forum posts fantomen makes, i bet behind the thick veil of idiocy surrounding him there’s a lovely guy with a warm heart and a gentle embrace and he will be fun and entertaining in mumble”? no, they go “that kid looks like a fucking idiot and i don’t want to talk to him.”
