Hey everyone,

I’m sure you all saw the news on the main page and this thread is
about that news as some of you may have already guessed. Now if you
let me, I want to explain how I ended up this point.

309 days ago, I was tired of searching for a new team after I left
Procella and that evening, demourge (whom I’ve had an argument with on
IRC about some cursing) added me to his friendlist on steam. I saw
this as a sign because I was worried about not being able to find
another team and considering quitting TF2. As you can guess, he
offered me a trial to join Px and after a 3-day trial, I was in Px.

After couple of nice weeks in team, rague (a friend of demourge) added
me to her friendlist. She said she wanted to sing a birthday song to
demourge on mumble and asked me if I could help gather people. Of
course I accepted. This was the moment I met rague. Then in time we’ve
started to talk about Px. Sharing my mother language, she was helping
me get to know our team captain and solve any problems I encounter.
You may ask now “What’s wrong with this?” My answer would be
“Everything!” Because she wasn’t only listening to my problems. ( I’ve
learnt about this when I was leaving Px)

The conversations during the summer season (AFS) were stil going on
when we were about to enter the new season. I, who played in all won
matches during the season, was thinking some things needed to be
improved. Like we needed more tactics because the teams we were gonna
play against were not going to be that easy (like in the previous
season). Some of my team mates agreed with me on improving the tactics
and stuff. Sadly, I could never make our team captain understand it.
By the way I was still talking to rague about these kinds of problems.
It was like two frinds chatting about the team’s problems. Nothing
more.

When the season started, our first match was against Eternity. To be
sincerely honest, losing did not surprise me at all because Eternity
was not only better than us but also there were some ex-cheaters
amongst them if you understand what I mean. Of course Demourge, who
was flamed on the match link, was not comfortable with the situation.

When we were training before our second match, Demourge said he needed
some personal time in real life and added we may be better off without
him so we continued to play without demourge. Our soldiers were
Mönkiainen and Jorman. We beat couple of strong teams in our training
process. I and hykleri agreed on the team was better off without
demourge. On the match day, Jorman wasn’t online and Mönkiainen had
problems with his internet. We lost in the first map (6-4) because of
simple mistakes and in the second map our lovely merc bm didn’t even
know that was an official match. None of these mattered though because
demourge said so. You can guess how we played the second map and what
we were thinking. I -again- shared my thoughts about this game with
rague. Later on, a friend said that demourge thought the reason why
we’ve lost was entirely different. According to him, I wasn’t playing
like I used to. Considering the summer season, I can understand why he
thought so but I can’t understand how he expected any good results
when the opposite teams were playing with lots of tactical variations
and we weren’t.

These thoughts of demourge made me unpatient for the next match
(against UV). During warm up, demourge who was waiting to watch the
game, came in the last moment and asked to play demoman for one map.
As a demoman playing in division 1, you can all guess how humiliating
it was for me. Of course I did not accept. Our second captain Jorman
supported me on this one and demourge had to leave the server. We lost
against UV due to couple of mistakes. Hat, who is a friend of mine,
commented about my performance after the game and said I played good
enough to win the game. Of course I was talking to rague about these
comments because demourge, our beloved captain, chose not to talk to
me about the problems we had, instead he chose to change his nickname
on steam to give me a message. He wasn’t impressed with my performance
in UV game, at least his nickname was saying so.

Later on, he said that it was ok to fold, and it would be even better
to make a decent new team. Strangely enough, it was only me who has
heard this. Demourge was in a double mix one night with me and after
the game, I said to Return that he needed to be careful otherwise he
could also get his share of demourge’s rage. He asked demourge what it
was about. The next week the only comment I got was “Are you mad
because I’m mean?” Of course again, I shared it with rague.

I figured out after the second game that I was not favored in the team
anymore. Maybe I didn’t give as much as demourge to this team but I
did my best and achieved a lot of things. I wanted to talk to him for
one last time and after 6 hours of arguments and cursing from him, I
left the team with my sincere wishes. Despite all this, I didn’t
removed him from my friendlist because I believed we shared more than
just a pc game, but he just removed me from his friendlist accusing me
talking to Koijete but the problem is I’ve never talked to him.

After that, I joined Px Red as a backup and then joined dg’s (who is a
friend of mine from team fubar) team as a mentor and a backup.
Unfortunately I left the team after 4 days, but in the meantime we had
a match against Vier Blue. I wasn’t verified for this game so they
wanted to use me as a merc because team’s demoman Amroth had some
internet problems. There was a football match between Besiktas and
CSKA Sofia on the same night and I’ve chosen to wait for the TF2 game
at the cost of missing Besiktas’ game. Some people may know I’m a big
fan of Besiktas and even my nickname comes from it.

want me to play so the team phone called Alesline who was also
watching Besiktas game. Some of you may know Turkiye is a football
country and official games like this is a big deal.

His performance was very good in that game some people thought it was
me playing in Alesline’s account and they did this by just looking at
the screenshots. And then rague, ‘the trusted friend’ went to demourge
and informed him about these rumours. You can guess what happened
next. We are living in a country that internet is like a joke. Our
ip’s change so frequently that we can’t even follow it. Even when you
reset the modem, you got a new ip (and it may even not match to your
city). Sadly enough, you got banned just because of these ip’s as a
proof but nobody cares about the skills of Alesline, who has been
playing for a long time (even in division 3).

The other thing is why they have waited for so long to ban me and my
friends. It shouldn’t be that difficult to check couple of ip’s. Some
of us are working and spending their precious time on this game. If
they had known they would be banned, they wouldn’t have spent the time
for this league. We should have been banned much more earlier.
Apparently it was a waste of time for us.

We had plans to join couple of lan tournaments before this unfortunate
event and it’s all gone because of a rumour. Isn’t it sad?

I’m confused about what “rague” had to do with any of this? You keep mentioning her but never close off the loose thread about her involvement?

Read all of this. Good post, and I agree that you should be unbanned.

He’s mad that someone he thought was a friend told demourge, who they both knew didn’t like him, some rumours about him acct sharing to merc for a team, is what I got.

If he was actually banned on just a rumour, then jesus what? Unban! (Though I’d like to have a little more faith in ETF2L admins than that)
