That happened to me not long ago which led me to complete re-format of c drive. I managed to remove the trojan because i dual boot with linux and thankfully I acted quick enough and changed ALL of my passwords (keep in mind that if someone has you steam login then they may have other of your details).

edit: oh and i’m a computer systems network student – I was entirely convinced that i could not be compromised by some random script kiddie. And no, i didnt give anyone the password, and yes i do use firewall + antivirus
