HD7870, for cheaper, averages 300 with Chris’ HighQuality. 660 SC should be capable of the same.

Just throwing gfx card names at him is useless.

Cookeh is completely correct in this discussion. AMD drivers are a lot better than they used to be on Windows, I have no idea about Linux but who’s gaming on that either way?

The bottom line is that these discussions are always a waste of time. It’s people give their opinions on something that is fairly objective.

1) Decide how much money you have/want to spend on a graphics card.
2) Look at a couple of websites and see what cards you can get for that amount of money.
3) Go to a reputed benchmark website (anandtech is a good example) and see how those cards compare to each other.
4) Buy the one that seems to be the best value of money.
5) Profit.
