Nice. My fps has been dropping with every update since they first introduced the hats. And some (most) of the hats are just annoying and distracting to see so I’ll rather play without them even if it doesn’t improve my fps. Thanks tarmo!
Fps doesn’t matter to me but getting those damn annoying distracting hats out from the way helps alot!

hmm, it’s interesting and useful but.. is FPS growth really appreciable?
I dunno, if only I could disable the unusual effects, since those are just fucking anoying.

Hard to test, tried doing timedemo, but the hats are all showing when you do it. It did make my FPS seem more stable, definitely increased the minimal FPS by a bit.
If you can genuinely tell the difference in FPS that removing hats makes, then you either need to buy a new PC or are not human.

I notice the difference between 120 and 110-115…
