i once had the same problem, so i made a folder “this-n-that” and put everything i thought it would be important in there…
so if i need something i just can use the cool folder features to sort the folder and find the (year old) stuff i am looking for.

True, but as a desktop OS, no other distro even comes close to that level of polish. I use Debian/CentOS on servers.
And anyway, bloated relative to other linux distro’s is still incredibly lightweight compared to windows. :P
