My clan did this a few months ago amongst ourselves – the chosen song was specifically tagged so it was separate from the actual song, ie we had DoGs-Beat It, for one of them. We didn’t have any rules as it were, people could use whatever character they want… though it became apparent that some characters simply cannot beat others (a perfect run on ninja mono still couldn’t beat a decent run with elite pusher on one song).

But yeah, +1
