Fullscreen dual monitor setup?

Allright, have been playing with a 19″ screen with TF2 in windowed mode (+ noborder). worker fine, and I am now still doing windowed at my 24″ while my 19″ is used for IRC and Web. But, I still have to run windowed mode to make it not use 20 years on alt tabbing.
Any weird configs, fixes, software or anything?
No, all version of source up to L4D hate it when you alt-tab.
