I like how it’s obviously got influence of the newer waves of charts-aimed-hiphop, but the way it’s arranged and filled with the piano chords still has that oldskool Dre/westcoast flavour. For the rest, not much long term appreciation here, apart from a disposable enjoyment out of the beat. I don’t get how anybody could like Akon, and Snoop isn’t really delivering anything fresh or tight (like he hasn’t for the last decade). And Dre probably still doesn’t write his own lyrics?
