My first soldier fragmovie.
Got tired of these “roflomg airshot movies”, so i thought it would be nice to do a fragmovie about killstreaks and add some nice looking shots.
Tried to sync it a bit to the music and kept the editing to a minimum level. Footage from officials (etf2l and wireplay), some cw and mixes.

-recorded with pldx-tool @120 fps and 1280×720
-used vdub to make uncompressed .avi
-edited in vegas and rendered it as uncompressed .avi @ 29,97 FPS
– used ffmpeg to encode it with bitrate 5000 and “max”.

Couple of things. Could’ve upped the fps to say ~60. Also the bitrate is quite low. Could’ve increased that as well. Check out the quality on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8HAwxP9dXU at 720p and yours.
If you still have the uncompressed avi in vegas post edits, you could use MeGUI and this tutorial at PLDX http://www.pldx.com/blog.php/2009/12/encoding-h264-with-megui/ to better the quality a bit. Only if you think its worth the effort. Still watchable :)
