Hey,
I saw Hoppihavet’s topic and I thought its an intersting idea (to double the baskets in bball) so I decided to try to create it.
I hope it will be fun as the regular bball map though i didnt make it 20% bigger like Hoppihavet said but i made the skybox alot higher than the regular one, i also made the fences unwalkable and on top of that I also made a 2nd version with ressuply i thought it could be fun too (the ressuply only covers the area below the baskets so u can still kill with midairs etc…).
The rar has both maps in it because im too lazy to upload each map twice :D

OFC my map is better :D kidding but i think 20% larger is kinda big for 2vs2 :X and 4vs4 will be complete spam… i think

My map could have been 3v3 for match, and maybe 4v4 in public. Will try out both maps now, and give you my opinion:)

Actually our maps are completly like, except that mine is bigger. My conclusion is that your map is slightly better than mine:)

Could I give the download link to Spa? They told me that they could use one of their server to play it

Firstly I’d like to say that I really love the resupply version of the map.. I’ve always hated on bball how the map usually degenerates into practice at shooting your opponent on the floor rather than practicing airshots which is what I personally play it for :) Also this allows 1v1 play to work a lot better without having to add any mods or anything, or being forced to suicide when you’ve killed your opponent but don’t have enough health to jump to the basket :D

I have noticed a slightly odd glitch I’m having though which I don’t experience on the standard bball maps. When I have my crosshair over the fence that surrounds the court I get a dark square patch surrounding it as can be seen here http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m163/Jonny5446/ctf_2xbball_ressuply0001.jpg?t=1254752308. You can see from this http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m163/Jonny5446/ctf_2xbball_ressuply0002.jpg?t=1254752309 picture that it doesn’t happen everywhere on the map, just on the fence. Also this http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m163/Jonny5446/ctf_2xbball_ressuply0003.jpg?t=1254752310 again shows that it’s just on the fence (the basket blocks the weird dark patch).

I’m not sure if this is something fixable at the map making end..but like I said it doesn’t happen on any other bball maps so I thought it might be.

Other than that, which is only slightly annoying, it’s a great map that I will definitely play for all my forthcoming bball needs :D
