Netherlands got a penalty for a ball being played to the hand before in this world cup aswell though.

Yeah the ball was shot to his hand, he couldn’t really do much about it.
I think that the ref didn’t do so bad today… And definitely wasn’t just on the holland side neither the brazilian side. He did give free kicks a lot, and also yellow cards. One yellow card even for De Jong who didn’t do anything and misses next match now.

Robben was very dirty and the ref was totally on nl’s side, lol how did van bommel NOT get booked for taking down lucio right at the end there!!
None the less brazil didn’t play their best :(

The ref made some very questionable decisions in Brazil’s favor as well. Overall a lot of bad decisions were made but neither team had the ref on their side.

Well deserved revenge to be honest, Brazil just lost their game after the first goal they took. Some questionable decisions by the ref (on both sides, people calling him Holland biased are biased to Brazil themselves) but hey, thats football for you.
On to the Finals lads, it’s time that we add one of those to our list aswell after so many near misses.
Can we get a counter up btw for how many Brazilians have tossed their Television sets out of the window so far?

So you’re saying because one referee made a mistake, others should follow his lead instead of making the right call. Right.

No.
I’m merely trying to point out that it’s humans making the calls. And the referee’s are afaik only allowed to go by what they see on the pitch. And as is often the case in football one person is gravely dissapointed about a call that the other person is very happy with, deserved or not.
I think Brazil totally should have wonn.. I was so happy with the 1-0. Damn dutch people.
Dutch people accusing completley uninvolved parties of bias concerning a dutch football match.
Why all the discussion about it, the ref did their job how they should, might be not perfect but hey, blame Fifa for that. And it isn’t that it’s because of the ref that the Netherlands won, it’s because the Netherlands played better (and maybe smarter) than Brazil in the end.
