Tbh I don’t think i46 is the LAN for testing TF2 as an esport. Testing it would require to take it to bigger LANs and actually trying to beat Starcraft and LoL in viewer numbers, which is not gonna happen.

As far as I remember if Valve were impressed with this LAN they may look further into supporting us more. Swear I’ve read that somewhere anyway…

I’m pretty sure Extine talked about that being the overall opinion with Valve, that they were interested in seeing what could happen at i46 and then maybe give support. To be fair, we probably wouldn’t have gotten the numbers if it weren’t for the blog post.
