Can anyone make a HUD like this from Vinty’s second movie?

I would try and make but I know nothing about HUD making. If anyone could teach me then I would be happy to make it but if anyone could try make something like that, I would really appreciate it.

His first video already has its own custom HUD so I’m wondering if anyone could try make a HUD for his second movie to keep up the trend.

I don’t think it’s possible, even with sv_pure 0 (allows custom images). Would be really awesome it if was tho :)

Would it not be possible if a zero could just be made to surround the hp then fill the empty circle in with a different colour? then the hp is in the middle of the circle?

EDIT: If you meant only the painted circle with numbers on the middle but not the HP meter thing then yes I guess it would be possible. Although numbers would have to be straight, not tilted :)

Ok, well let’s just pause the vid and look at the hud itself there. Is there anyone who can tell me what is and what isn’t possible to be made in tf2.
Like we could make a list like

Possible: examples like
the numbers
the font etc

and another list for
Not Possible: examples like
The ubercharge meter
the tilted numbers etc.

Pretty much everything except meter bars. Tho, you can’t make the tilted numbers(at an angle) and the circles wouldn’t look as good as that. The circles and the text saying “HEALTH” and “UBERCHARGE” would probably be possible to do by making custom fonts and with lots of trial and error, although, again, it wouldn’t look nearly as good as it is in the video AND you couldn’t make the circle color team based :/

So basicly, you can make circles with text on them that’s all :)

Everything except for the tilted numbers and the circular health/uber bars surrounding the circles can be realized 1:1 in-game.

Though I’m not really sure why you’d use this anyway, looks kinda obnoxious imho.

I’d just like to try because it would be something different from all the standard HUD’s out there at the moment.

But I know nothing about HUD making but if someone could teach me, then I’d love to have a go at trying to make a copy of this :p

It’s not 1 single texture, it’s multiple masks and textures compiled in After Effects, this is the final pass before a tint controller is used to change the colour to the team colour and the ubercharge bar is added.

Font is Agency FB.

Ubercharge bar is the same except flipped 180 degrees.

If you want to make the circular ubercharge meter that shouldn’t be too hard if you can make your own custom font of different slices of a circle. It’s like custom crosshairs, you can get any shape on the HUD provided you have a font for it.

But you can’t do it dynamically for different numbers. So with ubercharge it’s always between 0-100. If for health, I mean you could be a heavy with 450 or a sniper with 125. In AE I input the health and used an equation to split the health into radians and used an angle controller to animate the bars but obviously that’s not possible in TF2.
