Now it takes 2 months to craft a random hat, and 3 months for a class hat.

(Numbers come from the fact that the average items per week seem to be around 8-10, and 27 items are needed for a refined metal. Thus 3 weeks per refined metal, 9 weeks for a random hat, 12 weeks for a class hat)

Thus, assuming you craft random hats, and you receive a different hat each time, it’s going to take 2 * 36 months = 72 months = 6 years to craft all the current hats. At that point it’ll be 2016.
