With the new attempt to actually balance the map for both BLU and RED, shouldn’t the window looking out on BLU last CP be exactly the same as RED has on their side?

I mean this window:

I know it’s not a big deal but so were the other changes. Jumping into BLU window is just so much more failproof than RED window.

There’s quite a few other things on granary that look different. For instance on the last point of blue there’s a ledge you can sit on to the left (facing the last point) of the entrance to the second point. Where as there’s nothing there on the red team’s side.

You can also get atop the second cp as any class if you are red, but not as blue.

OK some of this stuff I didn’t even know after playing this map for years. Of course they are not gamechanging, but how come Valve didnt fix all of the issues concerning asymmetrical RED/BLU layout?

I know nobody can really answer that question, so instead: what would be a good way to inform Valve about this? Any beta testers on ETF2L?

How about the jump on 2nd CP in the garage on blue? You stand on the barrel and jump on exit sign and can get up you can’t in red’s 2nd CP.

Well, I wasn’t really concerned about the issues before, because it seemed like both RED and BLU had a few (different) ones. But now an attempt has been made to even the playing field, isn’t it normal to try and fully balance it?

In maps like these, specially in comp play there should be not a single reason to prefer one team over the other really. And face it, it is not like its hard to fix.
