5.) Collisions are team-based. The other reason I took them out is to allow a higher number of players and because I yet haven’t looked at it more closely (bumping distance etc.). I wouldn’t rule them out in not-so-near future.
6.) I disagree, it only happens to specific items and one is a downer (banana) and one is an upper/good pickup (boost).
7.) That space is being used by various particle effects at the moment. Also reserved for when I get an arrow model I can use to show direction in case people are driving the wrong way. Maybe we can get HUD logos at some point with some magic, who knows.
8.) Noted. I’ll write a quick “fix” and see how the feedback is.
9.) I cut it down by a third earlier this day.
10.) People can drop off at designated locations and will respawn. I just boobie-clipped the jump in tf2kart_woods because people managed to escape in various ways that I haven’t all seen yet.
11.) That’s something Valve has to do. Personally, I don’t like drifting from mario kart for example. There is some sliding/leaning mechanics in there already. I think thats a good compromise and seems smooth enough.

It would probably help to turn down lerp as much as possible. Otherwise, ping and Valve.

With everything tested in the wild now for a few days I’m feeling safe to implement new features (powerups etc.). Also more maps are coming!

Is there any way to change the powerup bind? playing entirely on the keyboard would be nice. Changing secondary attack didnt seem to work

I don’t have any pull on that. I can only use keys that are assigned to specific functions. What makes it difficult is that the taunt-mode disables pretty much all keys.

I’ve talked to a modeler and he’s just finished a different bumper model. I just need to compile it and set it up.

What we are still looking for more mappers. We need some simple and quick to make tracks, apparently basic is the favorite track at the moment. Interested? Please don’t hesitate to add me.

You can listen to any command that doesn’t yet exist, eg “use_powerup” and tell people to bind a key to that. You don’t have to stop supporting +attack2 as you can do both.

There needs to be a lot more items imo but that will come with time. Please nerf the lightning strike one though because it’s stupidly op. If you get it whilst you’re in last place you can easily end up 1st as a result.

Oh yeah, sure, I don’t know why I kept thinking one or the other.
If anyone of you has a gamepad.cfg or anything like that, it would be nice to see how that works. I’ve been asked whether it would work with a gamepad or not.

Oh yeah and please only have one server at the moment because it would be much better with more players than there are at the moment
