I can’t join a server at all with this update. Worked fine the night before then bam, always crashing on sending client info. I’ve verified my game cache, yadda yadda all that jazz. Didnt have a custom hud to begin with.
Still crashing every 2-10 minutes, default hud didn’t work, windowed didn’t work, turned off overlay, tried dx9 instead of dx8, rebooting (this actually made a small difference, I now get an error message, though only the standard hl2.exe stopped working). I’m going to update graphics drivers now. Any suggestions?
Do you use OpenPlugin? I was reading the github page and then I found this “If your TF2 crashes after an update or won’t let you join VAC secured servers, remove the plugin and remove -insecure from your launch params.”

Please zip and upload dump files starting by “hl2” in the Steam/dumps folder, then I’ll be able to tell if it’s caused by OpenPlugin or not.
