kTo

Hello, well basically my name is kTo and I’m a COD4 player moving over to TF2 due to the game being dead and insomnia lan not supporting it no more, I’ve played TF2 public and a few mixes but that’s about it really my main class is Scout due to me being an SMG in COD4.

i43 I placed 4th. OTR i43 Mix (kTo, Dylan, Phantasy, PezzR, Metal)
i44 I got DQ because someone in my team was hacking. (Chrisw0w)
i45 I placed 3rd. SAYIT i45 Mix (kTo, Phantasy, Lighters, Sh0x, Hav0kz)

I’m 18, really active on everyday pretty much apart from some Fridays + Saturdays.
I want to go straight into a high level of the game due to me being at the highest level of COD4 I can adapt really fast so hopefully I can pick it up quickly!

I need a config and Scout config and all that stuff so if anyone can sort me out with all the basics like configs etc.

Steam: Blzrd07
Xfire: ktocod

Here is an a three part guide I wrote a while back on Cadred to for getting in to the competitive TF2 scene:

Basically you will have to go through at least a few months of familiarising yourself with the game, meta-game and maps…etc and proving yourself at a particular level before you can play at a similiar level to which you did in your previous game.

kTo, for most people it is nearly impossible to jump right into high level tf2, because competitive TF2 is based around gamesense and knowledge about the game rather than aim. Having good aim will only get you up to about div3. But there are people that made it into the higher divisions quickly though (crouton for instance, former quake player) so It is certainly possible if you are willing to commit some time to learning your class, learning the maps and their own distinctive playing styles and your allround awareness ingame! I wish you the best of luck so you can reach your goal :)

I’ve been inactive for 3.5 months, Vanilla thought I might be literally dead, and he still didn’t remove me from friends.

I’m affraid to ask you kTo, but how long were you offline?

On a serious note : best of luck to you in your tf2 quest.
