Got Milk?

hello dudes.
yesterday i played fallout vegas. after several crashes, i decided to update my graphics adapter, maybe it would fix the crashes.i thougt it may be a good idea after 2 or 3 months of not updating it. after that whether tf2, nor vegas or any game started. after a loading screen all of them blackscreened and closed. i have a Nvidia N260 gtx, so i downloaded the actual 260.99 driver. i also tried a version before 260.89 both dont work. in the archive are no other drivers and i dont have an older version on HD.
can anyone help me to fix that?

Do you play in fullscreen mode and specified a certain resolution in the starting parameters?

i dont know, i changed nothing, except the driver update.
but onething had changed, on desktop, i can only switch between 3 resolutions.
800×600, 1024×768 and 1280×1024. before that, i had more resolutions which i could choose.
but i diddnt cared about that, cos i ran all the time 1280×1024.

try older drivers, prior 260

when uninstalling, use driver sweeper or smth like that

thank you for your help, animal. now my system works proper again.
but i think, not updating could not be a proper solution for the future.
if anyone can help me to fix the problem with updating my graphics adapter, i would be apreciated. the drivers are from 7.2010…..
