Hi, I want to hear some opinions on what server to rent. Currently renting Multiplay, and it’s totally shit. I don’t care much about the price. So what do people recommend, and what do people use?

Also, any opinion about using server located in Netherlands vs one located in Germany? I’m living in Norway, so I get about the same ping anyways

If you dont care about the price, get a CKRAS one.

Hiperz are a bit cheaper and mostly quite good quality as well.

It seems Hiperz servers are a bit hit and miss where some are great and some have pretty dodgy routing.
I’ve heard http://www.gameservers.comGameServers[/url] are pretty good.
Oh and don’t get multiplay

My experience with game server providers is that eventually they all turn shit, one way or another. If you can afford it, get your own dedi, and do it yourself. At least then you are in full control of how laggy your server is. The only thing you have to worry about is choice of location, because routing.

yes…but..some providers actually care about your experience and will move server if you will have lags from crowdedness(is that a word?)… so you can save quite a lot of money, when you look at it in years spend not just 1-2 months…

Hiperz all the way, they havent dissapointed me once… and their support is great aswell. They also help you install a few important mods into your server. Including maps and config for tournament mode. The main server page is easy to handle (hate some sites having confusing buttons everywhere).
