Highlander Season 14 Premiership Qualifiers

The Highlander Season 14 Premiership Qualifiers are hereby announced. The following four teams will play through a single elimination bracket for two spots, with 
Budget Toucans facing off against 
inVision, while 
Tourettes Chessclub battles it out against SENSATION.
Default mercs may only have high experience; players with more than three games in Premiership over the past three seasons cannot be used as default mercs and must be approved by your opponent.
There will be only one round played, which will be a best-of-3 match, with the winning team gaining a spot in Premiership for this season. Deadlines for both Premiership Qualifier matches are on 11th of November, 23:59 CET.
If teams are having any issues regarding game scheduling please contact the admin team.
Map pool used for these matches will be the same as for the Main season. For koth_coalplant, the b7 version of the map will be used for these matches.

Could the admin who did the seeding explain why chessclub is seeded as first?
Also, why the fuck is this still not double elim. Instead of putting the teams on equal terms for such an important event, admins makes up some imaginary seeding instead of focusing on getting the best teams in prem. The luck of some admin thinking you are better than the other teams decides if you get into prem or not, that should not be the case.
Lol. Don’t you know why chessclub got better seed? Here’s answer: they have kresnik on heavy and to avoid problems with playing games during week, admins decided to give them free spot. Jk sensation got best seed and that’s understandable

I’ve got nothing against any of the teams in the playoffs but a bottom high/top mid team is significantly weaker than 2 prem reform teams.

i’m not saying your point about qualifiers isn’t wrong. All i’m saying is that you cant call someone a mid team based on 2 default wins and then losses against 2 high teams which also made playoffs.
Aoshi – “No team has done anything worth seeding other than invision,” Sensation made playoffs, even if it was with default wins you cant just ignore it. Both toucans and chess are considered new teams even if they have a good base core.

Its actually quite funny to see admins try to defend one another’s stupid decisions, then to have bloodis say what he said in bees’ conversation.
Tbh only fair way out of this situatiuon is to extend playoffs by one game and make winner of Chessclub vs SENSATION play vs looser of BT vs inV. That will determinate best 2 teams of 3 real contenders and won’t mess with current schedule. No offence SENSATION. ;)
By the way, its ok to admit when you make mistakes. When you don’t admit that you’re wrong, it appears to others as if you are making poor decisions, and when faced with the fact that they’re poor, hunkering down and refusing to change your view for anything. This gives the impression to people that you lack good judgment, and it doesn’t instill confidence.
Now, if the decision your team comes to is that it would be unfair to any teams to change fixtures at this stage, you should come out and say that, but you should also admit your mistakes, because otherwise it just comes across like you don’t know where your shortcomings are, or that you are deliberately continuing to fuck people over and that you don’t care.
I should also add that you’ve done something similar to Invision in the past, so to do this again really rubs salt in the wound. You’re also very unapologetic about it.
In regards to Tercio’s comment, both Invision and Chessclub are available to play on Sunday.

cobz: Toucans, Invision and us should have been playing each other once. The playoffs should have been scheduled one week earlier for teams to organise and have a complete roster to play. Sensation would have been kept and every 4 teams would have had met once at least. Worst case scenario is that one team loses every match and the others have 2 wins and 1 loss but something might have been figured out then. Another bad case scenario is if two teams are tied for the 2nd place but a final playoffs would have been done to know which is better.
Less ashamed and more following basic policy of not having private chats posted publicly.

well if you look at realistically. Toucans got delegated in the last season that they played. Meaning that they are a high team that has been inactive and thus bottom seed

Well if you look at it realistically, sensation are better than tourrettes chessclub and budget toucans
