No need to be mad, the news-writer didn’t know that one team was switched at the start of the tournament. Fact is that all 32 spots were filled without a default win or drop.

Shoutout to clanda who I finally managed to contact 2 minutes before 20.00 and who then refused to play on the etf2l server from which tf2tv was going to cast. g fucking g, mates.

Spaik: If i would know beforehand that multiplay had troubles with keeping their servers up that evening, i would have said no too.

Of course I knew about the team change, I remember thinking at the time “what eejit put these guys in the low bracket?”

Allow me to clarify: Of the 36 teams who signed up, we managed to have 32 show up and start their first matches relatively on time, which is unprecedented for a MNM.

The only real issues during the cup were teams submitting results terribly or not at all, and one or two complaints about the low final.
