Love this thread, shows the respect everyone has for one another.

Though however as tapley said, if you get people of stupidly high skillz turning up to a ‘lower’ level game where you are not confident you will gain much, either tell them to GFTO or leave.
However if you want to try and learn anything play a little and if you begin to get rolled just state, that the game is no fun and they should find another game.
Do it nice and dont ragequit, as tbh thats worse than them ‘skill faking’.

Playing teams that are better than you is certainly useful but it’s a waste of time for both teams if the skill difference is huge- if I played Andy Murray at tennis what would I learn?

Skill faking is not such a big problem, maybe 1 in 5 games you get rolled by someone who is a little higher than you thought.

Most of the time this is because of the bad skill based system

e.g. we played 4 matches last night, all advertised
6v6 | low |

we won 2 and lost 2, and only 1 of these games was close

TBH the easiest way to fix this is to use the ladder, it’s starting to take shape, you can see how good your opponents are by the results, and (in general) the better teams seem to be at the top
