Friendship? Potential new mode

Kept having it when we were playing Granary when we capped a point. Cept, only I heard it and not the rest of my team, unless they’re just being dickheads.
Capping a point? At least I heard it after a point was capped. Granary middle to be specific.
I’ve had it twice when granary mid was capped.
happened to me after capping badlands mid
and the round was taking quite long at that time I might add.. like 15 mins maybe

Maybe it is only used when you play with or against friends?
while this may be completely unrelated, yeah I had friends playing on the other team back there

I noticed a different announcer sound today as well on a pub round of badwater, 2nd last cap. Didnt hear the exact words though, or anything else alike the rest of the game.
Had it on badwater when the 60 second pre-game timer ran out. “friendship ends in 10 seconds”
I assumed it was when we can’t shoot each other, we are “friends”

maybe about assists, many of you had it on capping points (more people – same points) so maybe if you assist a player like.. 4 times you make a “friendship” , if you dont make any assist to this player anymore in a certain time the friendship broke. atleast is what i think…

Heard it when pubbing on badwater, just capped the first point as blu. No friends playing that I knew of. :/
I think it is related wich class hearing it. I heard when I was soldier. How about others?

It’s something to do with Demomen and Soldiers. So I suppose one could contrive that those were the 2 classes getting updated in the big christmas update.
