Version 2.72 is out.

It includes:
-Added a button on the main menu to toggle the scoreboards.

It can be downloaded here:

https://github.com/downloads/raysfire/rayshud/rayshudv272.zip

Stay tuned, though! All I really have left to do is add in a custom disguise menu and custom build/destroy menus. Hopefully they won’t take too long. You can look for that update soonish. If anyone has any ideas on how I could improve/expand my hud, I’d be happy to take them.

I threw together a quick steam group. I’ll try and remember to throw out announcements for it when there’s an update:

rays

Version 2.73 is out.

It contains:
-Added in crit counter for the Diamondback. (Sorry!)
-A lot of positioning/sizing/coloring errors.

You can download it here:

https://github.com/downloads/raysfire/rayshud/rayshudv273.zip

The steam group is invite only, not sure if that’s on purpose or not.

Really? Someone on OzFortress said the same thing even though I specifically made it public. Try now.

Seems to work now. Thank you! :)

good HUD, use it

rays

Version 2.8 is out.

It includes:
-A few positioning fixes.
-A new, custom disguise menu.

You can get it here:

https://github.com/downloads/raysfire/rayshud/rayshudv28.zip

Here’s what the new diguise menu looks like:

The only thing you should know about it is that it’s not properly configured to handle the “Concise Diguise Menu”. It will work, but the buttons/numbers will not be positioned properly. Sorry about that. If I find a fix, it’ll be here asap.

CENATION

Since the update yesterday the main menu hasn’t displayed properly for me.

What’s wrong with it/what does it look like?

rays

Version 2.9 is out.

It contains:
-Custom build/destroy menus (including Pipboy!).
-Changing of the respawn timer color in the tournament spectator hud, to make it stand out more.
-A few padding errors on the tournament spectator hud.
-Fixed team names getting cut off in the winpanel.

You can get it here:

https://github.com/downloads/raysfire/rayshud/rayshudv29.zip

Anyways, this should end my reign of updates every two days. At this point, everything should be added into the game for it to be functioning properly. If you have any issues or need help, you’re welcome to continue posting here. I’ll probably be updating it periodically as I find more small errors, but for the most part, it’s completely finished.

I may make a minmode version in a few weeks as people have asked for that, and it seems like it’d be a fun project, and of course, I’ll make sure to keep this thing updated after every update.

Anyways, a big thanks to all of you for supporting me, and helping me work out the bugs.

<3 you all.

rays

Sorry, I lied.

Version 2.91 is out.

It contains:
-A fix for the concise disguise menu.

You can get it here:

https://github.com/downloads/raysfire/rayshud/rayshudv291.zip

It was really bugging me, so I messed with it enough until I fixed it.

Hey guys, a guy on my team made an updater/installer for my hud. It’s still in a very early stage, but you’re welcome to try it out!

Hey guys, I made a rayshud installer.

It’s the first thing I have ever written in C# so I bet it has some bugs. If it’s having any strange behavior, post here with what you were doing that caused it. Instructions are in the README file.

Thanks,

The_Tree

It currently contains the following options upon installing:

-The ability to choose whether or not you want the health cross.
-Auto-installation of files for 4:3 resolution users.
-Auto-backup of any previous huds installed.

rays

Tree recently updated his installer for my HUD. Here’s info on the new version:

New version:

I got some more free time, and got more done on the rayshud installer/updater. It now has a crosshair picker. I excluded the thincross and crazy full screen fighter pilot crosshairs because they were causing problems, hopefully they will be included soon.

It’s important to note that these crosshairs should be centered on a 1920×1080 screen, but on other size they might not be. I will hopefully add a resolution selection thing and try and make them centered on more resolutions.

Bug fixes:
– Fixed a bug that caused a crash when update was hit multiple times in a row.
– Fixed a bug that caused a windows error to occur when closing the updater.
