People are saying that i have stolen the new KN menu. I haven’t seen it but people are saying it’s in his thread. I haven’t visit his thread ever, i think.
I made this menu a long time ago after i played MW3, but i didn’t think it fitted any of my versions. Now KTC wanted a new menu and he liked this one. So please stop accusing me of stealing. I make my huds because i think it’s fun and relaxing, i haven’t earned a single cent so there’s no point in stealing.
I could just release my huds to my closest friends if i wanted, but i release them because maybe there are more people that likes them.

It’s because nobody has released such a menu before; now suddenly two similar HUDs pop out and one can be irritated, that his idea which was meant to be original, let alone first on the market, has just been implemented and published by someone else.
Even if it was stolen why the fuck would it matter?!
Plenty of huds have stolen from each other
If you don’t like him “stealing” other huds then maybe just don’t give a shit and don’t use garm3ns, even though the accusations are laughable at best.

This will be my last post here. Hud making is just something i do for fun and lately in this thread people have been upset because of it. That’s so far away from what i want.

As I can see where this is going, well, have gone really, I thought I should make my point clear.
I am not trying to make anyone think of Garm3n as a bad guy, after all he have given me some really good tips back when I first started making a HUD so I have a lot of respect for him as a HUD maker.
But to get to my point. I’m perfectly fine with people using my ideas, or anyone elses ideas for that matter, but when they do, and don’t even give credit, or a thank you, to whoever “came up” with the idea first. I do get a bit offended.
The source engines UI is very limited, and it wasn’t built to make it easier for people to customize it, so true, Garm3ns right when he says that sooner or later some elements will end up looking very similar. But there is a fine line between “something similar” and “something inspired by”.
Whether Garm3n had seen my screenshot prior to making his version of it, I can never be sure of and if that TRULY is the case… Then in that case I apologive sincerely for starting this massive shitstorm, which for some weird reasons always happen within the TF2 community as soon as someones feelings have a remote chance of being touched. No harms done. But if he did, and thought “Hey, that looks good, gave me an idea”, all I ask is for a simple “Thank you” in one way or another.
Hopefully you understand what I’m trying to say and that I won’t be discussing this any further.
Jeez, after reading all this I don’t really feel like releasing the update and new versions for my HUD, since I got inspiration from so many places :S
Why don’t we all just chill and enjoy the community work every HUD maker is doing? :)
