Last time I checked all it does is transmit info about players actually caught cheating/exploiting to his server (last few lines of http://dblocker.didrole.com/?action=features )
(although slightly dated: http://www.gamedeception.net/threads/21736 )

It does catch some badly coded hacks though.

It caught me once because he added a bunch of checks in 1.6 hence why I reversed it and showed everyone what he’s doing (here: http://www.gamedeception.net/threads/21736 )

Why is it that we just dont add a min and max rate, which is equal? Wouldn’t it then be impossible to change the rates? Standard rates man, standard rates
If so, do it. And add it to the config

All it would do is deny people that have legitimate reason to want to use a certain rate the opportunity to do so legitimately, whilst the people that wish to rate hack simply have to use different methods.
