also has an obsession of some sort towards viewing demos and talking about them. Sometimes I wonder if it’s even the improvement he seeks from watching all those stv’s and pov’s. It’s almost like he physically needs it, it really does concern me at times. Like, I can recall a few occasions when hes just casually offered to ‘suck my dick’ if i watched just a little bit of his latest scrim. And when I try to explain that I really do not give a shit about such activities it almost breaks him. He just goes “oh, all right. I see how it is” but you know that DEEP inside hes far from being cool with it. So please, know what you’re dealing with and try and offer him his fix every now and then. I recommend recording your voice on tape and playing it out loud on your mic which acts as if you were present and actually analyzing his plays in mumble with him. Just say things like “oh, that was a really nice play” and “yea, I agree” over and over. But hey, to end this in a real cliche manner, I’m just gonna say “nobody’s perfect.” So if you can see past these little cons you’ve got yourself a really passable engineer.
He’s like 5 years old and shouldn’t be allowed to play in leagues, he also watches cbeebies about animals instead of fucking sick shows like the tweenies or bob the bluder.
So heres the thing the person you just described is a gamer nerd. Engineers are generally well kept, and if they have acne issues they go to a dermatologist. Engineers also understand that they are only as effective as they can communicate, so if they are bad at it they learn to communicate better. You see the first lesson an engineer learns is how to learn, effectively and fast because they have to retrain themselves every six months or so. I have never met the engineer you mention engineer with cystic acne. I have met gammers who build their own sentries and call themselves engineers, but they are not actually engineers. Think of an engineer as the 20th century Leonardo DaVinci. Extremely curios and talented, a little quirky socially but thats because they see things through a different filter. Most engineers i know are well kept and they typically have really hot girlfriends/wives/husbands/boytoys because they have incredible gaming potential. Please do not confuse engineers with gamer nerds, its an insult to actual engineers.

One of the few engies that frequently asks me for tips, but more importantly actually does what I tell him to. I see both potential and desire to become better in cherry, hes most likely gonna be the best engi if you let him. Voodooh is at the clear bottom in the prem list, yet cherry manages to outdmg most engies he plays against. That itself is a great feat. Good Luck.

No offence to others, but cherry was the best player in our team. He was tryharding every game, be it official or a half-mix scrim, and it can be seen in his logs and his communication with the team. I will be very surprised if he doesn’t get picked by a prem team soon, at least in the backup spot (for safekeeping :)).
