Looking for soldiers still. Azn agreed to join, then waited 5 days of us not playing after that until 30 minutes before scrims started to tell me he had changed his mind and leave.
I'd really prefer experienced people but could try some less experienced players. At the moment a few of us are a little rusty but what we're actually trying to do is get something that feels good together before we start keening on winning scrims etc. We do after all have a bit 'til the season comes around.

The prem in the recpost doesn’t mean we are prem or that we are trying to go prem, just that we want more experienced players. When I had it on div 1 I got as low as div 3 people adding me.
It’s funny you say that knor because you only played anything above div3 officially like 5 seasons ago which you lost. And Yak never even played anything above div3, not to mention he also lost s19.

You proceeded to argue with the guy that you asked to trial for about why you are experienced, and that it’s stupid to want experienced players for a long ass time. I didn’t say you shouldn’t look for experienced players konr, but it’s a bit hypocritical when you don’t have a lot going on etf2l history wise. Also I hardly doubt you got so many “experienced” players adding you that you don’t have any time left to trial some lesser known players who might surprise you.

I think what DamnEasy is trying to say is that playing 10 seasons in div6 would give you a lot of competitive league “experience” but that a guy who played two seasons and is now div3 is the better player.
And I think what konr is trying to say is that he only accepts people with div1/top2 league experience while he doesn’t have any himself except for nearly 2 years ago and doesn’t find that hypocritical.

ok its time for real talk. Konr has been a div 2 scout since he started playing this game. He has a massive ego and the last time I saw him on an mge server he was getting beaten by an “inexperienced” div 4 scout by like 20-8. He then got mad and started flaming the div 4 scout and told him to stop running backwards like a pussy and that his aim was “rusty” (konr has had rusty aim since he started playing this game) He says he is looking for experienced players yet the 2 players on this team (azn and pierrz) who are both inexperienced are carrying him through all his div 1 games. The reason konr has never been able to play above div 3 is because he has a serious ego problem. If you don’t believe me look at every rec post he has ever done, there is always drama and he always overrates himself and replies in an angry manner to the people who call him out on it. Players like azn and pierzz should be playing with a better team with a leader who knows what he is doing and doesn’t refuse to trial upcoming talents cause people with actual div 1/prem experience know that Konr has no idea what he is doing and will not want to play for this team. This team isn’t gonna work unless konr gets over his massive ego. OK real talk over.
AMS went into a prem team that had FIVE experienced prem level players already on it. konrrr already has inexperienced players so thats why he wants someone more experienced jesus.

So much of the above is literally made up it doesn’t even deserve a response. I’ll give one for the sake of anyone else reading this and wondering what my side of it this is, though. This is purely to the serious posts made here and not to any people just taking the piss as this affects my team and not just me.
I was really really keen when playing for sparkLe Motion and while playing in that team I reached my peak. I was playing against very good players and consistently doing more than pulling my weight. After that season I struggled to find a team that gave me the same feeling. I joined a TCM as a backup and really just didn’t play after that point. Occasionally I would play some DM or a lobby or something but very rarely and the passion I had just sort of went away.
Anyone that just stops playing as actively like that is going to lose their aim and I for sure did. The few times I did play it was after not playing almost at all for weeks on end and I never expected myself to do well in these situations. Because of this “rust” I had I decided instead of trying to play at the level I was passionate about again I’d just play a bit lower and play with some friends. My understanding of the game was still good, my aim was off still but it didn’t really matter as much and I didn’t actually have to dm a lot or anything. Of course during this time I had the usual idiots following me around just to tell me how bad they thought I was which is expected of course.
Now let’s fast forwards to now. I have finally decided I actually have a bit of the passion I once had back. I want to play with a team I enjoyed to the same level as sparkLe Motion and I personally want to get back to the level of DM that I displayed back then. This is going to take a bit of time of course but I don’t mind that. While creating this team I decided to pick up pierz as I think he is a talented player and he’s a great of friend of mine. I picked up Taimou because we get along quite well and I like his medic style and yak for effectively the same reason as pierz.
The people in this team with me would like to play div 1 next season. This means that when someone asks to trial I usually run it by the others first. What has actually happened on this rec post is for the most part people embellishing shit and making a load of assumptions just because they don’t get on with me. Popcorp hates me and has done forever but no one worth their salt takes his opinion seriously. A similar thing goes for sheepy as well but in his case at least he isn’t a shit player, he’s just possibly the most autistic child that’s ever played the game.
What actually happened was that DamnEasy asked me for a trial and I said no because I wanted something else. It wasn’t JUST that I wanted “prem/div 1” players (which only the rec post says). It was also because when he asked to begin with I asked my teammates if they wanted him and his response to me saying no back then was not very desirable. Why would I pick up a guy that argued with me the way he did? I am not declining upcoming talents (I tried azn out right?) or really any of what was said above. I’m just saying what I would prefer to trial. Hell, ask h3x or Kazachu. Both of those people are people I am going to trial and the reason is because they did not give me the same impression that DamnEasy did.
I’m not throwing my teammates under the bus when I say we have less experienced players, and I’m not saying inexperience is purely an ingame thing that I’m trying to stay away from. When I say I want experienced players what I mean is that it’s a lot easier to manage a team with players that aren’t completely new to this sort of shit. I don’t want to have to deal with players with attitudes midgame and things like that and whether you know it or not I have had many people tell me all sorts of things about DamnEasy among other players that I would most likely deny trials.
That’s enough for that anyway. I hope people don’t pay too much mind to some of the drivel that some people that hate me say above. I’ll quickly address you sheepy with two things. Firstly you know as well as I do in sparkLe Motion I have consistently played against you and beaten you just as much as you have beaten me in the same situations and I was not carried by my team in these games. Secondly I hope you don’t go LOLXD WASN’T REALTALK REALLY BAITED IDIOT XDDDDDD as that’d be kinda disappointing.
I can see how this could look from the outside but I must stress to anyone that may look at this with the intent to perhaps trial: Don’t assume that everything you read is 100% true. Have a chat with me or play a few games with us and you’ll see for yourself really.
