Div 3/Div 4 Skill, 6v6

Hello everyone,
Sadly I think the spooky turtles are soon to be slowly rotating on a spit so I'll be looking to move to another 6s team for S20.
To be honest I'm never able to judge what div I am but everyone I've asked has said 3, 3/4 or 4. So I put 3/4 but I'm willing to trial for any team all the way from the murkiest depths of low 4 to the shimmering peaks of high 3. I'm very willing to improve and my ultimate aim is to end up in prem someday so I'm willing to put in the practice wherever possible but sadly my hours are somewhat limited due to the fact I'm currently doing a masters in theoretical physics (which is fucking hard btw). Nevertheless I usually play from somewhere around 8-9 PM CET to 12 AM CET depending on the day as I have evening lectures.
Anyway as for myself in-game I'm very vocal – I count ubers correctly most of the time, my xbow aim isn't too bad and I'm told I am a good medic in general by the people who play with me.
I would prefer a team that scrims around 2-3 times a week and are serious about improving and playing to win :)

A really nice guy. Is really keen on improving and he will put a lot of effort in. He is a really good medic, and is very vocal. Pick him, you won’t regret it!

i find sixes hard so i would say more div 4 than 3 but hey i havent played 6s with him much nice med anyway
Would do pretty nicely in div 4 I think :)
good medic with solid dodging, heals and basic positioning knowledge. calls a lot but if you’re looking for a maincaller you’d need to give him some time, though i’m sure he’s willing to try.
as long as your team is an organized and dedicated bunch of shiny happy people, he’s also a chill guy to hang out with.
also one of the most dedicated and eager players i’ve ever met. any high div4/low div3 team should take him into consideration.
D3 for sure
REM’s a pretty darn good medic- he can manage 3/4 pretty well from what I’ve seen of him, and more importantly, he’s very self-critical- he knows what he has to do and can see where he goes wrong, and will improve himself quickly. Any team looking to get better and climb divs should welcome him.

Really nice guy. I cannot comment on skill however due to not playing with him for a very long time. If he retained the keen bean attitude I’m sure he’s competent though.
Solid medic, has the basics down very well. Keen and tries very hard(sometimes a bit too much), calling can be a bit on and off but I’m sure if you give him time he’ll be able to do well. Worth a shot in d3 imo.
REM probably has one of the strongest work ethics i’ve seen in any medic, especially among div3/4 players. His will to improve is one of the first things you’ll notice about him. He sets pretty high standards for himself, and adapts to the team’s style quite quickly. He’s a very smart player with a decent amount of experience under his belt already. Also, great personality. Literally you can talk to him about anything, he won’t ever refuse a friendly shoulder.
Very nice and keen guy, has massive potential
I predicted him to become a high div med already back then, when he started in div 6. That he’s applying now for div 3 just makes sense: This guys is certainly committed to the game, smart and talented. If you look, however, to build up a team “more fun than ambition”, REM could be the wrong choice. If you have ambitious plans and are seeing the game more in a serious way, he’s the perfect choice!

So there have been Murmurs going around that Spooky Turtles are finally Out of Time. If you’re looking for a medic who can move you Up and really Accelerate your game, look no further than R.E.M.
Because this is the videogame Team Fortress 2, Everybody Hurts, and R.E.M. will do a solid job of allowing you and your team mates to Get Up after even the hardest of hits. He’s very alert, certainly no Man on the Moon. If you have a player named lin on your team, there’s even a possibility that he would Überlin if he was in danger.
So although I’ve probably just made The Worst Joke Ever, perhaps In Time someone will appreciate it.
In all seriousness, I Believe in R.E.M. so Andy, regardless of whether or not you’ve heard about this one in the past, pick him up.

I kept getting stuck on the fucking pipe and I had to jump off to unstick myself and I accidently hit the s key or something and got sniped :(
hugely dedicated, assuredly talented; although it should be said I wouldn’t call him d3 quite yet – his gamesense is definitely there but I’m not totally convinced by his movement + dodging.
having said that, his frankly supernatural ability to improve in disgustingly short periods of time is probably his best asset.
high-mid d4 now, quite possibly d3 later.
only ever played against him but always seems to do really well and everyone always tells me how dedicated he is to improving, hope he doesn’t make div 3 cos i’d like our sixes teams to actually play each other :D

Great medic, good game sense and really commited to getting better at the game.
Div 4 easily and definatly would play well in div 3 with a good team in frount of him, can rage a bit at times but only if people aren’t taking things seriously. 11/10 would LAN again.

been thinking about this. div4 now, really solid on the basics, but to get to the next level you want to develop a whole team philosophy, so that you aren’t thinking about if-then conditionals so much as gameflow. might require you to maincall. studying stvs (with jon’s spectator tools) while thinking about pushes is really useful. i recommend epsilon circa i49
word on the street is he’s quitting TF2
Thanks to everyone who wrote on my comments post whether that be with praise or constructive criticism. Certain things are happening IRL which is making it very hard to cope with stress and I’ve always found playing tf2 competitively very stressful – mostly due to the way I handle anxiety & stress and not the specific actions of others.
As a result TF2 has turned into a chore for the first time and I don’t want this to kill my interest in the game entirely. Therefore I have taken a break from TF2 comp, not sure how long I’ll be gone – at the moment I’m just messing around on another game with a IRL friend of mine so I guess I’ll see where that goes.
If I come back though hopefully I won’t suck too much and I’ll see some familiar faces again :)
