Match Reminder
This challenge was accepted more than 7 days ago. You must play this game before 18/01/2010 or both teams will automatically incur a 5 point penalty. Penalty points will be removed upon completion of this match. Please schedule and play this game as soon as possible
The score of granary was 3-5. Also I’m not sure if merc was allowed.

– Delayed match be aztecs’ leader
– Unknown server config with “sv_pausable 0” (we couldn’t set pause after our player dropped)
– Inadequate opponent’s behaviour
– We weren’t asked about merc
1. Guys, we used ETF2L.CFG (check status screen).
2. Darth_weider is not merc. He have some problems with his ETF2L account and he’s trying to solve it asap with ETF2L admin. He is in our team from the beginning (you could check our clan’s steam page).
3. I apologise for inconvinience with sv_pausable 0. We chnged it and paused the game as soon as you told us about the problem. We didn’t move to center point either. But, anyway, I apologise for this situation again.
4. Score was 3-5. true.
5. Please indicate where was our inadequate behavior. :)
6. Please use another words to explain situation with delay. Make your thoughts clearer.
There was no etf2l config because “sv_pausable 1” is a part of this config. Several our players one by one were trying to pause the game wasting time on that. Yes you paused the game on request but none asked you to unpause – you did it on your own while our team wasn’t ready.
Player in your steam group has nothing to do with an etf2l registered player. I think it’s pretty obvious. Until your mentioned admin will not comment this situation he’s an unallowed merc.
Also you didn’t appear on an agreed time (moreover a time you proposed, not really suitable for us but we agreed to play this ladder finally).
Again, check status screen, you will see loaded ETF2L.CFG dtd Sept.2009. I don’t know what was happened with sv_pauseble. Anyway, I apologized for that.
Regarding time. As I understand, I offered that day. Your teammate didn’t agreed for it. And after some time you asked us for that date again. May be you revised your decision, I don’t know. Anyway, your team as well as our team agreed to play on that day.
Regarding merc. Our player is solving problem with his account on ETF2L. I hope he will do it ASAP. And again. HE IS NOT MERC. ALSO: you didn’t tell us ANYTHING about our player. If you were against it, you could told us. so, before our play you were OK with it. As I understand, AFTER the game you are protesting. so, let’s leave it to admins.

If there’s another status screen, I can’t see it. Anyway if your ETF2L.CFG is edited it’s not league config anymore. “I don’t know what happened with sv_pauseble” sounds rather weird. What else could happen to it other than the fact it is edited?

It’s not we who should say “we don’t wanna merc from your team” it’s you who should say “can we play with a merc?” That’s just simple ethics. Usually we accept any mercs.
It’s just getting annoying when people ignore the rules and we came to the end of our tether.
Gas13 has a very reasonable point here guys. If you want us to look into this further for you please talk to an admin in #etf2l via IRC.
With regards to Season 7 and entry for clans, let me just warn you now that you will do your team no favours if you manage to play with configs that are not to ETF2L’s specification and with players that are not correctly registered.
The rules are in place to be followed, not broken. We are looking for teams to play in Season 7 who follow the rules.

Regarding merc. I didn’t ask you about merc because he is not. I told him 10 times to solve the problem with etf2l account. I will help him to solve the problem and I hope it will be done in a couple of days. It’s only our problem, not yours. That’s why, I apologize for the inconvenience. Usually if we use merc we ask opponent about it.
ETF2L.CFG I checked file. It is not edited. But, it was our server and as I said before, it was our fault. And I don’t want to discuss this again.
If you want a rematch, we could do it. No problem at all. :)
I don’t want a rematch – you are stronger for the present, no doubt.
I hope you can understand my position here. Way too many teams act like they can do whatever they want and that’s getting really annoying. We were very disappointed with player drops during the game + that unpausable situation ended up with the fact your player is not registered.
Now that he is added to team roster your apologise is accepted. You proved to be a good team leader who can keep his word.
