Hi,
I’m looking for a good mic.
Around £50.
So tell me what headsets/mics you have, only if you recommend them of course.
*No desktops mics that have to be on stands i have a small amount of background noise.

i use beyerdynamic dt770 pro headphones with the first version of modmic. The modmic is godsend, as I can’t stand gaming headsets in general.
I’m using Sennheiser PC 320. I love it, but there is a small problem: the cushions inside the ears are really bad, and it actually hurt my left ear, so I had to rip another cushion from my old broken headset to make it feel comfortable.
So I guess it’s bad then? I dunno
+1 for the modmic – get some nice headphones and stick it on.
I got stung for a fair bit extra from customs, but it’s still worth it.

If you got a soundcard + headphones then zalman/modmic is the way to go, no need to spend 50 bucks.
If you you need headphones too, I’d recommend sennheiser/beyerdynamic.
If your soundcard is shit then you’re screwed, 50£ won’t be enough for soundcard + headphones + mic.
If you want a headset nonetheless it is going to be tough with 50£, but I’d say sennheiser.
Or whatever atmo says.

Any idea if it’ll work on the dt990s? They don’t really look like they have any smooth surface thats big enough.
