As I understand it, a demo file is merely a serialization of the network stream. If that is indeed the case, it means it’s not as such impossible to split a demo. But it’s also not feasible to work out how; effectively rendering it, indeed, impossible.

They don’t look overly complicated if you look inside them. Dosen’t seem impossible for a tech sawwy person to give it a go.

I’ll just record the good part, I guess.

edit: I did some tinkering and it wasn’t that hard to snip the demo. Problem is I have no idea of knowing what tick is when. :<
