PLDX recording tool not working

I can start it just fine , loads up tf2 with the graphic settings I need – so far everythings fine.
I load my demo , as soon as i go to a tick my tf2 just disapears. No errors or anything , just gone.
I really need this to record , is there a fix for this?
try playdemo xxxxx; demo_gototick xxxx

Same issue here, ish.
When I use the Goto feature in demo playback, either one of three things happen;
– TF2 disappears, no errors, or
– I get dropped back to the main menu, but pressing Play on demoui will continue playing the demo at the tick I skipped to, or
– The demo reloads and plays perfectly fine from the tick I wanted to skip to.
If you have multi-core rendering enabled, disable it. If that doesn’t help, just fast-forward to where you want to start recording.
(strangely I have no issues at all when I want to skip to a tick that has already played)
