Erm ... Help?!

Well I got a creepy problem with tf2. Always when I want to start Tf2 it wont. This happened when I wanted to test the videocapping by Plxd and since then tf2 starts with a too high resolution – looks like a widescreen and I really dont know what the hell happened! I even deinstalled and installed Tf2 and the problem is still there
Can anyone help me?
Updated any graphics drivers or anything recently? Perhaps try a windows system restore to when it was working.
Also anything inputted into your tf2 launch options?
just put -autoconfig in start parameters
