Please, back in the day if a demoman did the taunt sticky kill it was very frowned upon and very unsportsman like, to the point where players actually complained to admins and refused to play games.
Glad they’ve finally fixed such a mechanic which shouldn’t be there.

there’s still a 5 month hole in what you said
As a demo main I basically never used this anyway lol, only rarely used for gimmicky trap spots and you can just have a teammate watch it?
It’s kind of silly you can’t do this any more but it doesn’t really matter except with taunts you can keep on like hi 5 etc.
