Hi,
I’v heard that a lot of people having trouble hiding their IP and thus getting ddosed while pcw-ing of playing an official (like happened last week for fl1p).
So I’v decided to help all you out there having trouble with computers!

1. exert your mIrc
2. Tools->Options
3. Category name: Options
4. Perform..
5. In the textbox you enter this: /mode $me +x
6. Mark V on: Enable perform on connect
7. OK
8. re-connect to mIrc quakenet
9. Have fun!

thats all it takes.

You don’t need to set +x manually in perform using mirc, the option exists as a simple checkbox somewhere.

Not at home right now so can’t check

without bouncer you still will show IP upon connecting to server

invisible mode doesn’t work on quakenet, +x is only for authed users and there’s a bunch of free bouncers anyway so just get them
