In other good news, the chaps over at CEVO dropped us a line to say that registration for the CEVO TF2 Season 6 tournament has just opened up. With three skill divisions, it’s a great place to play some competitive TF2 matches, even for relative beginners. They’re trying to convince those of us in the Valve TF2 team to play in the Amateur division as well, which would be possible if we ever figured out how to curb our usual desire to cheat spectacularly.

and the “answer”

CEVO has just received word from Valve’s TF2 development team that the Amateur division champions will get to play against a 6-man Valve team as their prize for winning the division. After the Amateur finals match is completed, the winning team will suit up one more time to take on the makers of Team Fortress 2.

In the communication to CEVO, the Valve TF2 development team claims that the match will be a slaughter but we can’t reveal who they think will be slaughtered. Indeed, CEVO-A TF2 soldiers, take this as a challenge! The pride of the community rests on the shoulders of the CEVO-A champions.

ye and valve got properly fucked; they resorted to a dirty trick: Suddenly the whole team was ubered and on fire (literally) :P

edit: basically it’s on pwnage.tv (SHOULD be), but i cant find it as the site seems fucked and slow as hell :/
the video/match should be called something like “Valve vs 20ID and Experiment”

It was Valve vs. 20ID and The Experiment.

(Think it was that experiment that went on to be the old old old pandemic).

That is not from the match vs the 2 comp teams though. It was on granary, well and bball.
