Where to extract hud

Haven’t launched tf for about half an year. Now wanna my hud back. But copying “scripts” and “resources” folders to C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonTeam Fortress 2tf doesn’t switch it. Tell pls, how is it to be done nowdays)
